A business park on Main Street in Menomonee Falls being proposed by Cobalt Partners could receive more than $18 million in village financing.   Cobalt announced in November it was purchasing the von Schledorn Auto Group dealership properties comprising of more than 20 acres with plans to redevelop the sites into an office campus.

Kalan Haywood of Haywood Group, Josh Jeffers of J. Jeffers & Co. and Scott Yauck of Cobalt Partners have been selected to a national list of notable commercial real estate executives.

One of the biggest challenges of building the $200 million 84South development in Greenfield was first assembling the land necessary to create the mixed-use development. “We had to clear 43 parcels, including 39 home sites, an elementary school, a Baptist church and a farm field, as well as the old Steinhafels,” explained Scott Yauck, president and CEO of Cobalt Partners, developer of 84South.

Milwaukee-based Colbalt Partners LLC today unveiled its development plans for a West Allis site, currently owned by the school district, which include a 100-room hotel, retail space, office space and an education component.

Cobalt Partners is purchasing the von Schledorn Auto Group dealerships on Main Street in Menomonee Falls and is working on a $50 million redevelopment plan for the sites that will include a corporate campus.

Milwaukee developer Scott Yauck sold a strip mall in Mequon to a Madison-based real estate investment firm for $4.3 million, according state records.

It was another nervous moment for Scott Yauck when he had to ask Shary Charlier for more time to buy the family farm for a $150 million development in Greenfield.

Cobalt Partners closed on about 20 parcels of land this week in Greenfield for a mixed-use development along Interstate 894.   “We will be starting site work within the next month and are planning on spring construction,” said Scott Yauck, president and CEO of Cobalt Partners said in an interview Monday night.
