Scott Yauck is our President and CEO. Under his leadership, Cobalt has built a $750 million portfolio of transformative projects across Wisconsin.
Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a J.D. from Marquette University. His career spans engineering, law, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use developments.
Recognized and awarded as a top U.S. real estate influencer, Scott remains active in civic leadership, serving on multiple boards and advancing projects that drive long-term community impact.
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Jamie Stefan is Chief Administrative Officer at Cobalt Partners, where she drives operational efficiency and team effectiveness. With over 15 years of experience in human capital, investor relations, and legal sectors, Jamie brings a holistic perspective to commercial real estate operations.
Before joining Cobalt, she held senior leadership roles in investor relations, business development and operations collaboration. She holds a BA from Marquette and an MBA from Carroll University. Jamie is active in NAIOP Wisconsin and the Girl Scouts, and lives in Lake Country with her husband and daughter. She enjoys concerts and family adventures.
PROJECT AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Charles Yauck is a Project and Development Manager at Cobalt Partners, overseeing design and construction to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to high standards. He also leads Heritage Cobalt MKE, managing site acquisition, permitting, client relations, and leases for its billboard portfolio across Southeastern Wisconsin.
Charles holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, with a focus in finance, real estate, and management.
VICE PRESIDENT OF
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Bill Ohm is Vice President of Design and Construction at Cobalt Partners, where he leads project design, engineering, and construction efforts. A licensed professional engineer and land surveyor, Bill brings deep technical expertise and a commitment to quality, efficiency, and sustainable development.
He holds a degree in civil and environmental engineering from UW–Madison. Bill serves on multiple boards in Hartford, including the Downtown BID and Historic Preservation Foundation, reflecting his dedication to community revitalization. His leadership helps advance Cobalt’s mission of transforming neighborhoods through innovative, high-impact development.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Steve Schroeder is Chief Financial Officer at Cobalt Partners, overseeing financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. He brings extensive experience in real estate finance, budgeting and compliance.
Steve holds a BBA from Marquette University and is a Certified Public Accountant. His strong financial acumen and focus on operational excellence support Cobalt’s mission to deliver high-quality real estate solutions across the region.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Dan Roskopf is the Chief Operating Officer of Cobalt Partners, overseeing the operational and financial performance of the company’s development portfolio. Since joining Cobalt in 2014, he has played a key role in advancing large-scale, mixed-use projects.
With over 20 years of experience in real estate development and commercial construction, Dan brings expertise in entitlement, financing, leasing, and project oversight.
He is a CPA and a graduate of UW–Whitewater, magna cum laude in accounting. Dan is also active in his community, volunteering with his parish and organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the VITA program.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Charlie Lawson is a Maintenance Technician at Cobalt Partners, LLC, a Milwaukee-based real estate development firm known for its transformative commercial and mixed-use projects across Wisconsin. In his role, Lawson is responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of the company’s properties, performing routine maintenance, addressing repair needs, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of Cobalt’s diverse real estate portfolio.
With a strong background in facilities management and a commitment to excellence, Lawson plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that Cobalt Partners is recognized for. His hands-on approach and attention to detail contribute significantly to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional real estate solutions.
REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT MANAGER
Madeline Check contributes to Cobalt Partners' mission as a Development Project Manager, bringing expertise in real estate development, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. She will oversee mixed-use and commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring they align with Cobalt’s strategic goals.
Known for managing complex timelines and collaborating across disciplines, Madeline has experience in site planning, permitting, financial modeling, and consultant coordination. Her attention to detail, hands-on approach, and passion for placemaking make her a key contributor to Cobalt’s mission of delivering impactful, community-focused developments across Wisconsin. She is dedicated to upholding the company’s standards and building strong relationships with municipalities, partners, and stakeholders.
Executive Office Manager
Beth Ostrowski joined Cobalt Partners as Executive Office Manager, bringing 10+ years of administrative and executive support across healthcare, technology, finance, and corporate settings. She oversees office operations, streamlines workflows, and supports senior leadership to keep the workplace coordinated and efficient. Beth managed complex calendars and travel, led internal communications, coordinated strategic initiatives and meetings, organized board-level events, prepared executive reports, and handled sensitive information with discretion.
With experience in both startup and enterprise settings, Beth brings a proactive, solutions-oriented, and collaborative approach—making her a key partner to Cobalt’s leadership and a vital contributor to day-to-day success.
