Cobalt Partners closed on about 20 parcels of land this week in Greenfield for a mixed-use development along Interstate 894.   “We will be starting site work within the next month and are planning on spring construction,” said Scott Yauck, president and CEO of Cobalt Partners said in an interview Monday night.

Asking Scott Yauck what he’s working on tends to take a while. On a recent morning, the founder and CEO of Cobalt Partners unfurled a large sheet of paper across a conference table at the commercial real estate development firm’s headquarters in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward and worked his way down a list of more than a dozen projects that the firm has in the works throughout the region. Developers Pitch Dream Projects for Northridge Site

The city of Greenfield has taken another step toward revamping a high-visibility swath of land along the freeway by creating a special tax district and signing a development agreement to pave the way for a potential hotel, recreational/entertainment venue, multifamily housing, retail and other uses.
