[11.19.2025] Next Phase of Bayside Development includes Grocer, Health Club and Luxury Apartments (Milwaukee Business Journal)

The next phase of a nearly $200 million mixed-use development in Bayside is proposed to include a full-service grocer, a state-of-the-art health club and 180 luxury apartments.

Cobalt Partners and La Macchia Holdings on Tuesday announced plans for the next phase of OneNorth, which focus on “wellness, convenience and community.”

“From the outset, our vision for OneNorth has been to create a vibrant, mixed‑use destination that feels authentic to the community – walkable, sociable and easy for everyday life,” Cobalt Partners CEO Scott Yauck said in a statement. “This next phase brings OneNorth’s promise into even sharper focus: an elevated living and working environment surrounded by exceptional amenities that people use on a daily basis.”

Cobalt Partners said negotiations with potential grocery store and health club tenants are in early stages but have advanced to a level in which conceptual building and site plans could go before village officials for consideration in the coming months.

Located at the northwest corner of the intersection of North Port Washington and West Brown Deer roads, OneNorth integrates several elements around a central green plaza. That includes luxury residential venues, boutique shops and restaurants, wellness concepts, reimagined workspaces, and the new North Shore Library, according to a press release.

OneNorth’s first building, The Symphony, was completed in 2024. It anchors the plan and houses 98 luxury apartments, street-level retail and the library, which is scheduled to open Feb. 2.

It also establishes “the pedestrian‑friendly character subsequent phases will extend,” the press release states.

The development also is to include Artalia, a $40 million luxury senior lifestyle community planned to have 153 units that will be operated by Koru Health, an affiliate of Matter Development.
